The Public Health Collaboration celebrated its 10th anniversary this month, hosting the Nourish to Flourish conference at The Light in London, followed by a fundraiser dinner at The Memoir Club.
Reflecting on the milestone, Dr. David Unwin appeared on The Diary Of A CEO to champion the organization's origin story. He explained that the group formed when "sixteen clinicians said, 'How are we doing? Rubbish. Can we do better? Can we give clearer public health advice?'" Unwin used the platform to urge listeners to "support the British charity that I set up, the Public Health Collaboration."
While the tone remains overwhelmingly positive among its founders, the broader medical community continues to debate the efficacy of the specific dietary guidelines the Public Health Collaboration advocates. As the organization moves into its second decade, the focus remains on scaling its clinical influence and driving attendance to its annual events.
