Netflix is overhauling the cast of Selling Sunset for its upcoming tenth season. The network has reportedly opted not to renew the contracts of Mary Bonnet, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, and Sandra Vergara, while Alanna Gold has confirmed her own exit. Meanwhile, original stars Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa are slated to return to the Oppenheim Group fold.
While the industry digests the massive roster shuffle, Tim Dillon recently offered a characteristically detached perspective on the show's cast following an interview at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival. On The Tim Dillon Show, he noted that "the women from the show, um, didn't speak that much," during their joint appearance. Dillon kept his commentary strictly observational, joking, "I just interviewed the cast of Selling Sunset. I don't want hantavirus."
The production pivot also signals a broader strategy shift at Netflix, which has paused Selling the OC to prioritize the flagship series. With Alex Hall reportedly in talks to jump ship from the Orange County office to the main Selling Sunset roster, the upcoming season promises a drastically different office dynamic. Whether the return of legacy cast members can reinvigorate the franchise remains the primary question for viewers heading into the next production cycle.
