This Week's Pulse

The Boys officially concluded its five-season run on Prime Video with the release of its series finale, "Blood and Bone," on May 20, 2026.

While the series has ended, the praise for its star Chace Crawford remains high in the podcasting space. On Armchair Expert, Dax Shepard recalled his reaction to the show, noting, "I had this wonderful, shocking moment when I'm watching The Boys, and, you know, maybe Kristen said it out loud first where she's like, 'Fucking Chase is so good in this.' And I'm like, 'Yeah, this dude's fucking awesome.'" Crawford himself credited the series for revitalizing his career, adding, "I read the script to The Boys. I was like, 'What the fuck is this?'"

Despite the enthusiasm from Armchair Expert, not all critics are convinced the show maintained its momentum. On Kinda Funny Games Daily, Greg Miller offered a more measured take, stating, "I think the last two seasons haven't been as strong as, like, the whole show has been, you know?"

The franchise is already looking toward the future, with the prequel Vought Rising slated for 2027 to keep the universe alive.
